Step 2: Site Evaluation & Proposal
Our comprehensive site visit includes:
A review of your historic energy use
A discussion about future electrical needs (like EV chargers, heat pumps, or battery storage)
Measurements of your roof, ground space, and solar exposure
An inspection of your electrical system
Review of current electric bills
This visit typically takes 1–2 hours, and we recommend all key decision-makers be present so we can answer questions and walk through the process together.
Within 48 hours, we’ll provide you with a customized proposal, complete with system specs, expected performance, savings projections, and available incentives and rebates in Vermont, New York, or Massachusetts.
Step 3: Technical Design & Permitting
Once you’re ready to move forward, we handle the heavy lifting.
A Power Guru project manager will return to your site to finalize technical specifications, gather any additional details, and prepare all required state and local permits, interconnection paperwork, and incentive applications on your behalf.
You’ll receive a timeline and clear expectations on what’s next.
Step 4: Installation & Commissioning
Our professional crew takes pride in clean, efficient work — and in respecting your space. You’ll be kept in the loop throughout installation, including when equipment is delivered and when construction will be completed.
Once installed, we coordinate with your utility to commission the system and officially bring it online.
Step 5: Final Walkthrough & Ongoing Support
After your system is live, we’ll schedule a final visit to walk you through:
